I've been a primary school teacher in the UK for 12 years now and more recently working as a Supply teacher to give me time to work on teaching resources and, my other hobby of machine embroidery. I love helping my fellow teachers, even if in a small way.

Christmas Tree Decoration Counting

(0)
A fun, timed, activity for pairs, involving throwing a die and decorating a Christmas tree according to the relevant picture shown in the table below. Differentiated activity sheets - one with the number and one with the picture of the die face. Once the timer is up, pupils swap sheets and count the total decorations of each type, to complete the table. An enjoyable starter for a maths lesson or a fun family homework activity.
